Kevin Edwards

Attorney Kevin Edwards was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he attended Alief Hastings High School.  Following his graduation from high school in 1995, Mr. Edwards attended The University of Texas at Austin on a swimming scholarship and was a member of the 1995-1996 National Championship Swimming & Diving Team.  After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a Minor in Business, Mr. Edwards returned to Houston to work for a prominent world-wide intellectual property litigation firm.  Deciding to pursue a career as an attorney, Mr. Edwards attended Texas Tech University School of Law, where he obtained a Juris Doctorate, was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review, and served as the 3L Class President.  During his time in law school, Mr. Edwards also worked for a prominent personal injury attorney in Lubbock, Texas where he gained invaluable courtroom and trial experience in matters involving car accidents and medical malpractice.

In September of 2003, Mr. Edwards began his legal career in Dallas, Texas where he joined a civil litigation law firm defending corporations, insurance companies, employers, trucking companies, and numerous businesses and individuals throughout the State of Texas.  After five years on the defense side of the docket, Mr. Edwards turned his focus and his practice to helping those who have been injured or harmed by others.  Over the past 8 years, Mr. Edwards has represented thousands of victims in medical device and pharmaceutical mass tort litigations, including Transvaginal Mesh, IVC Filters, Actos, Pradaxa, Xarelto, Paxil, Depakote, and Topamax.
