Experiencia

Mr. Goss has over 35 years of experience litigating high-stakes cases.

Before forming Freese & Goss, Mr. Goss was a member of the Dallas office of Andrews & Kurth, L.L.P, where he began his legal career in 1986. He specialized in savings and loan litigation, securities litigation, and other complex commercial disputes. In 1992, he joined the Dallas office and was a partner of Scott, Douglass & Luton, L.L.P. In 1994, he co-founded Capshaw, Goss & Bowers.

After forming his firm and switching to the plaintiff’s side, Tim specialized in consumer class actions, in particular abusive mortgage lending cases. He was appointed class counsel in dozens of nationwide class actions. As a direct result of his efforts, the United States Congress passed private mortgage insurance legislation, which resulted in the mandated cancellation of hundreds of thousands of mortgage insurance policies. Since forming Freese & Goss in 2007, Tim has dedicated his practice to representing individuals harmed by the negligence of others. He has successfully pursued mass tort cases on behalf of thousands of victims of wrongful practices by companies that have manufactured or distributed dangerous drugs, medical devices, and other consumer products. He has also represented individuals fatally and catastrophically injured in accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, and workplace incidents. Tim has successfully recovered $1 billion dollars in recoveries for his clients.
